Leonardo da Vinci Bombard is here!
One of Leonardo’s most interesting siege engine designs is the Bombard, a short cannon that launches a projectile that would then open and send out a scattering of shrapnel, like the modern cluster bombs. Pretty gruesome honestly, and while ours has a a few hollow balls that open – we suggest loading chocolate chips inside – or gummy bears. Way safer and tastier. This kit has great educational interest and once you make it you can experiment with trajectory angles and weight (by adding things inside the balls). Read more here!
