Part of the bridges series, this drawbridge moves up and down in a similar fashion to small bridges around the world. Small foot bridges are used to get over canals that are scattered throughout the countryside in England and some countries in Europe. They can be lifted by one or two people, and often have a counterweight to make it even easier.
Simple to make in less than an hour, this bridge is a great example of a moving bridge, perfect for a class studying bridges and bridge design. While this bridge does not use hydraulics, it can be fitted with a hydraulic piston as part of a design challenge! Graffiti on this bridge is not included, so you will have to tag it yourself.
